MARGEE

Margee is the musical project of Alexandre Gimard, a French producer based in Grimaud, in the heart of the Provence that he loves so much. His music has resonated on music stages around the world, performing at festivals such as Afrikaburn, Wonderfruit, WeCanDance, the Monastery Festival, Plages Electros, Cartel del Chipo...
During his studies in the the Netherlands, Alex started out in electronic music , a milieu he'd hardly considered before that (like any self-respecting rocker...). Margee's sound can be groovy bass lines, floating pads and swinging rhythms. Always striving to find the groove in his sets, he draws his musical inspiration from a variety of musical genres, such as funk, downtempo, disco, and anything else that can wake up a crowd of keen-eared dancers.
